Beat the Pro Competition at Canyons Resort

On Saturday, February 21, SLUG Magazine will present its second and final amateur snowboarding and skiing competition of the 2009 season at The Canyons Resort. Beat the Pro is exactly what it sounds like––the regions finest riders will compete head to head against pro skier and Team Athlete for the Canyons Resort, Stefan Thomas, female snowboarder and Celtek Team Rider, Iris Lazzareschi and a male snowboarder from the Celtek Team, TBA. Local amateur riders will compete for cash, gear and, of course, the glory of stomping a pro.
