Behold Blindsight at the Salt Lake Art Center

George Mendoza, Far Away Eyes, 2002 48 x 60 in., oil and acrylic on canvas

Our city's adventurous downtown art gem, the Salt Lake Art Center, is a feast for the senses. And with its current exhibit, Blindsight, the notion of vision itself is examined. In the show, four featured painters—John Bramblitt (Denton, TX), George Mendoza (Las Cruces, NM), Eric C. Peterson (Kemah, TX), and Vojko Rizvanovic (Salt Lake City, UT)—have all lost most of their sight.

Blindsight presents their compelling works through May 23.
