Spring sking on the cheap

Spring sking on the cheap

We know how it is. You meant to ski this season. It was going to be your year. But then it was cold and you got a cold and then the holidays and relatives in from out of town. Suddenly it's February, almost March, and you feel like you've wasted another season—skis forlornly stacked in the same basement corner they've sati in since you optimistically got them tuned in October. But you've forgotten that this is the best time to ski. When it's raining down here, it's snowing up there. The resorts have cleared out all the holiday tourist trash and everybody else (like you used to) has forgotten both these facts. As incentive Snowbird is offering two late-season passes starting the first on March 2 runs $499 and the second (which will offered on March 30) is $279. We wouldn't recommend a season purchase at anywhere else but Snowbird, they are known for the latest season in the state. You can pretty much count on them being open as late as Memorial Day weekend, and often even longer (the record is July 4). So this can still be your season.

Spring passes can be purchased at the Snowbird ticket office or by calling 801-933-2215 between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. daily.
