What's cooking at Park Silly Market on Sunday

The fireworks don't come to an end Saturday night—on July 5, Park City's weekly fun and food market—Park Silly Sunday Market—will include a line-up of local chefs cooking live on-stage.

Chefs from 350 Main Braserie (Salt Lake magazine's 2009 Dining Award pick for Best in Park City; Maxwell's (featured in Park City Life in the current issue of SL mag) and Shabu (last year's winner of Best Fusion restaurant) will show Silly-goers how to cook some of their famous dishes.

We'll be right there by the stage across from the Town Lift—come by, say hi, take a peek at the current magazine and make your holiday weekend last a little longer. Chef demos are at 10:30 am, 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm.

About This Blog

A lack of serious ambition, a love of cooking and a degree in Latin naturally led to a career in food writing for Mary Brown Malouf.

Her 25 years of experience has included stints as executive editor of D magazine in Dallas, Texas; executive editor at wine.com in Napa, California; and restaurant critic for The Salt Lake Tribune.

Now, she’s the dining editor for Salt Lake magazine, where she writes about the food scene in Salt Lake City and beyond. Check in regularly for the latest restaurant news, great products from local purveyors, and conversation about all things gustatory.

If you have news, tips or other information about the dining scene you'd like to share, email Mary.
