4th Annual Birds, Bees and Bones

4th Annual Birds, Bees and Bones

Okay, I'm in an award frame of mind right now—this is the season when I huddle with other savvy Utah foodies to determine this year's Salt Lake Magazine Dining Award winners. (Look for more info soon, right here.) And I'm an only slightly apologetic fan of cheap alliterative tricks.

But don't you love the name of this event?*

The birds (Roosters Brewing Company) the bees (Beehive Cheese Company) and the bones (Soul and Bones BBQ) setting a spread for the fourth annual cheese, food and micro-brew pairing to benefit Utah's first Ronald McDonald Family Room™ at Ogden Regional Medical Center.
The event will take place on November 21, 2009 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at the Grand Lobby located at Ogden's Union Station.

*Of course, I'm ever the critic, so I do have one teensy suggestion to these delectable do-gooders: to make it totally descriptive, they could add "boogie" to the alliterative title, because there will also be live music.
