FeedDeer Valley's Celebrity Skifest
During the days of Dec. 5 through 7, 2008, Deer Valley played host to its annual Celebrity Skifest. Famous faces like Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Ian Ziering, Joey Pantoliano, Spencer Pratt and Matthew Modine took to the slopes to help raise funds for the Waterkeeper Alliance, a non-profit group that works to keep global water supplies clean and unpolluted. In addition to the stars power, there was also political power on the mountain, Waterkeeper heads Max and Bobby Kennedy raced down the Bird's Eye run along with Olympic Champions like Heidi Voelker, Phil and Steve Mahre.
