Kimberli Brown and Michelle Giolas founded Paisley Pomegranate in June of 2004 with the goal of bringing beauty and color to the homes (and feet) of their customers. The eclectic shop with two locations in Sugar House and Park City, offers a unique collection of goods. They feature local artists' work along with a wide selection of "super cool" shoes, funky clothes and furniture.
Brown and her partner Michelle Giolas came from the wholesale side of the business where they traveled the world finding unique items. Along the way, they found many unique treasures and ideas that they used to create Paisley Pomegranate.
Brown and Giolas pride themselves in seeking out "affordable, yet unusual finds to adorn our customers and their homes." Paisley Pomegranate is a full-service boutique, offering gift wrap and delivery.
"We'll even stop by your house to help you decide what color to paint a wall," Brown says. "Look to us for one-of-a-kind art and gifts, offered up with unmatched customer service."
Like many local retailers, Brown and Giolas had to weather the recession but they believe they have the cure.
"We believe in retail therapy and the best way to relieve a little stress after a big recession is to stop by Paisley Pomegranate!"
