Log Haven has arranged a 'fright night' up Millcreek Canyon, Utah's own haunted forest of sorts. The usually romantic restaurant will transform into the "Haunted Haven" Oct.29-31 featuring a fiendish feast, creepy cocktails and tarot card readings by Margo Provost.
The dinner-for-two menu features all sorts of goulish, gourmet delights including 'Bloody Eyeballs on Worm' (Lamb meatballs and heirloom tomatoes) and steak with anti-vampire potatoes (garlic?) and a bloody red wine-fungus swamp sauce. Who knew something so delicious could be so....gross. (read the full menu below)
Cocktails include the 'zombie', the 'dark spirit' and Uinta Brewing Punk'n Harvest Pumpkin Ale.
The 1922 silent horror film, Nosferatu, will also be playing. Nosferatu is an unauthorized German adaption of Bram Stoker's Dracula with a few tweaks (names changed).
Reservations are highly recommended and can be made here.
...just watch out for the headless horseman.
