Now that Halloween is over, a lot of really diverse events that you and your kids will enjoy are popping up all over the Wasatch Front. Rock to the Beach Boys on Thursday night party with Dorothy and the Tin Man at Discovery Gateway this Saturday, just make sure you're out of the house enjoying the weekend.
The Beach Boys
Face it, Kokomo sounds just as fun as it did in 1988. Plus, The Beach Boys are one of the few truly cross-generational bands to hit Utah in some time. You're just as likely to hear them on the Oldies station as kids' radio. Bring the fam tonight! Tix are $45 to $95.
How to Train Your Dragon
A young Viking sets to slay the dragons and finally earn some respect, but actually realizes those fire-breathing monsters aren't too bad after all. Watch it in the Main Library's reading room for free, one of the weekly kids movies, every Friday from 3 to 5 p.m.
