Chanukah on Ice
After a hard-fought victory for religious freedom, the Maccabees returned to their temple with enough oil to light the holy lamp for one day, but it lasted eight. Now, Rabbi Benny Zippel celebrates the occasion every year with Chanukah on Ice.

Big Bird in Hebrew
The new season of Shalom Sesame (the Jewish Sesame Street) premiers on Dec. 5. The I. J. & Jeanne Wagner Jewish Community Center is showing the first episode, which will be all about Chanukah.
