It's a way to connect the community with local artists and it happens every January. The January Gallery Stroll (or various versions thereof) features special exhibits, art events and more while showcasing artists. From Park City to Provo, there's a lot going on.

As part of event, various businesses will be offering special sales and deals that (in some cases) won't come around again until next year. The stroll starts at 6 p.m. and goes until 9 p.m. on the specified dates detailed below.

Jan 21

Salt Lake City's annual January Gallery Stroll happens on Friday, Jan 21. For a list of the galleries and shops participating in the stroll, click here. Make sure you free up some time this evening because the deals will be hot.

While you're out, don't miss Ken Sanders Rare Books (268 South 200 East, SLC) where everything from original art, prints, posters, maps and more will be on sale at during their annual White Sale from Jan 14-29. A special sale will be held on Jan 21 as part of the stroll event (we're talking screaming deals from 25%-75% off). For more details, click here.

Jan 28

On Friday, Jan 28 Park City will kick off this year's run of their monthly Last Friday Gallery Stroll. This event is free and includes light refreshments. Visit Park City Gallery Association's website for more details.

Feb 4

The Downtown Provo Gallery Stroll sponsored by the Downtown Alliance and the Provo Arts Council already happened this month, but not to worry, it happens the first Friday of every month.
