The SLC Film Center's Tumbleweeds Film Fest for kids officially kicks off April 1 with a private reception for VIPs, followed by the very first Tumbleweeds film screening, Eleanor's Secret (VIP or otherwise).

7:30 p.m. April 1 at the Broadway Centre Cinemas

Seven-year-old Nathaniel inherits a library full of old books, which Captain Hook, Alice and other fairy tale legends actually live in. The tiny characters need Nathaniel to protect them by reading the library's magic inscription. Just one problem, he needs to decipher it before the books are sold.
