Pay no attention to the rain outside your window.

Instead, concentrate on this: Tastemakers Salt Lake City is full ON for Thursday and Friday evenings, rain and/or shine. All the food vendors in the pavilion will be tented and the strolling restaurants are serving indoors. So bring a brolly and your appetite. For more info and to buy tickets, go here.

PLUS - and talk about a ray of sunshine - the Downtown Farmers Market opens its 19th season on June 11 - that's only a few weeks away!

Farmers Market friends are celebrating the market at the 4th annual Gather with the Growers party. Come on down to Squatters on Monday, June 6, for a festive evening of flavors from over two dozen Downtown Farmers Market vendors, live music from Red Rock Hot Club and a selection of local spirits. There will also be a silent auction featuring items from the Downtown Art and Craft Market and, as they say, more!

The fun starts at 5; tickets are $40/single; $75/double; $50 at the door. All proceeds benefit the Downtown Farmers Market. For more info and to buy tickets, go to slcfarmersmarket.org.
