This event promises to be more exciting this year than ever before. Not only are more wineries participating, but there are more PC-specific events, the Thursday night will take place at the St. Regis Deer Valley, which should be nothing short of glorious and Saturday's Grand Tasting will be set up on the newly redesigned Forum at Canyons. Plus, the Court of Master Sommelier's Introductory Sommelier Course is being held, for the first time, in the state of Utah, July 11 - 12, 2011 at the Montage Deer Valley.

The big hits are the wine and food tastings that also include hiking and cycling -- pure Park City, and these sell out quickly. Some are already sold out, so sign up now. Registration is online.

New this year are component tastings for newbie oenophiles. The folks at Vine Lore will show you exactly what wine geeks mean when they say a wine tastes "earthy" or "foxy" or "meaty." Also, Kiler Grove, UFUW (Utah's first urban winery), is presenting a blending seminar where guests will blend together barrel samples to create their own blend.

And remember, this isn't pure hedonism. Yhe event benefits the People's Health Clinic.
