I think SLC/PC psyches are still scarred from that dismal spring.

We're past the halfway mark on summertime and everyone seems desperate to enjoy the weather to the max. There are several great events every weekend, it's hard to choose which al fresco meal, picnic or outdoor concert to go to. For instance...

Harvest Dinners at Copper Moose Farms

Tonight's dinner featuring Metropolitan's chef Justin Shifflett is the first in a series: The evenings will all start at with a tour of the gardens at Copper Moose Farms. Guests will harvest some of the meal's ingredients, then take their cocktails to the kitchen to join the guest chef and local food purveyors in the preparation and cooking of the evening's dishes.

Chef's dishes are served with a green salad from the farm, homemade salad dressing with farm herbs, local breads and cheese, homemade local desserts and fruit, and local beer/wine/whiskey.

Guests enjoy dinner under the stars and among the flowers in an elegant farm setting.

ABC at J&G

Following the success of the Spice Market menu, J&G Grill is offering a new tasting menu from another of Jean-Georges Vongerichthen's restaurants. The ABC Kitchen tasting menu features the farm-to-table fresh dishes of Chef Jean-Georges' acclaimed new ABC Kitchen restaurant in NYC, with a focus on local organic ingredients.

Hop Gardens at Canyons

This summer Epic Brewing Company is sponsoring the Hop Garden at The Farm at Canyons Resort every Saturday during their free outdoor concert series Saturdays at 6 p.m. through September 3. Five Epic beers are available with two paired appetizers.
