More power to all of them.
But most power to Taste of the Nation, the fundraiser sponsored by Share Our Strength that is an anticipated occasion all across the country, from Toledo to New York City. The cause is simple, feed the hungry, especially hungry children, in your community. And, unfortunately, the need grows every year.
In Utah, Taste of the Nation is held at Solitude Mountain Resort. It's always a beautiful setting and a lovely afternoon with more than 40 Utah restaurants serving samples of great food, wine flowing, stellar silent auction and a special attraction, Utah Bakers Dozen booth, where top pastry chefs offer a staggering array of sweets.
It's this Sunday, from 1 until 4. Tickets are still available, in advance $75) and at the door ($100.)
And let me say it again, one hundred percent of the ticket price goes to help the hungry.
