As we battle re-entry into the office after a three-day weekend, let's look at what the next two nights offer.
As I wrote during the weekend, Willie Nelson is a must-see show in my view. Don't believe me? Read this. Also, music starts at 7 p.m. with opener Rayland Baxter, a folkie who is returning to Salt Lake City just a few months after opening for The Civil Wars. Tickets remain on sale.
Also, one of my favorite dance-rock bands hit The Urban Lounge on Tuesday night as Oregon's Starfucker play their second gig in town in two nights. Tickets are $13 and are available at 24tix.com.
And Wednesday night, heavy metal rockers Down hit The Depot for an 8 p.m. show. Tickets start at $25. Down features former Pantera singer Phil Anselmo, pictured above, so you know it will rock.
