The 758 page September Issue of Vogue magazine just hit stands, signaling the onset of fall fashion. And what better way to celebrate than Fashion's Night Out this Thursday, from 6 until 9:30 p.m. at Fashion Place Mall. Along with event partner Salt Lake magazine,  Fashion Place has brought FNO to Salt Lake for the first time since its 2009 launch in New York. FNO, if you haven't heard, is an evening of shopping, discounts, trend shows and fashion fun. Four of the stores will be hosting trend closets, where you'll find age-appropriate fashions. Read on for the details of each closet and don't forget to let us know if we'll see you there!

It’s the classic case of “I’ve got nothing to wear!” The cocktail party or night out that you have scavenged your closet searching for the perfect little dress, yet nothing looks just right. We know, we’ve been there too.

Luckily, Val Rasmussen, editor of Utah Bride and Groom magazine, partnered with Dillard’s to present the Night Out closet during FNO. Located in front of Dillard’s you’ll find age-appropriate inspiration to help you pick the perfect cocktail dress for the work party that will double as the wedding reception dress. Stop by to check out all the additional accessories and details to make the outfit pop. We promise you won’t have to face that “what to wear” dilemma again.

Chic Belle

Forget the notion that you can’t get trendy, chic clothes in Salt Lake. Local boutique Chic Belle knows SLC fashionistas can be trendsetters—and the shop has the clothes to help. Stop by the new boutique, located near Nordstrom, to get a glimpse of all the fashion you need to look like you stepped out of the pages of Glamour or In Style.

Hosting the En Vogue closet, Chic Belle has created four outfits to help you—whether you’re in your 20s or 50s—look glitzy and glamorous. Perfect for a high-fashion party or even just a day shopping in the city, this closet will certainly up the style ante.

Inspired by global fashion and their unique clothing selection, Volt Fashion will be presenting the Jet Setter closet, where you’ll find everything you’ll need to fit in walking the streets of Paris, traveling to Bruges—or just strutting through Salt Lake. From sassy jackets to skinny jeans, you’ll look European chic without even trying.

Volt is one of Fashion Place Mall’s newest, local boutiques, selling high-end designer brands in a casual, lounge-like atmosphere. Owner Sydney Weaverbrings in the up-and-coming trends, keeping local style savvy men and women at the forefront of fashion.

Just because you want to look chic doesn’t mean you have to spend an entire paycheck. Marcie Young Cancio, Salt Lake magazine senior editor and a veteran of New York City’s Fashion Night Out, and fashion contributor Jenni Stokes have created four Fast Fashion-inspired outfits for the women on-the-go and on a budget. You’ll find entire ensembles, including bright colored bags, fun accessories and mix-and-match pieces to incorporate into your everyday wardrobe. And, even though the trends are sorted by age, don’t let that stop you–any of the pieces will work for any size, shape and age.

Don't miss the event, this Thursday from 6:00 to 9:30 p.m. at Fashion Place Mall.
