Rockin' around the Christmas tree at the Christmas party hop... is what we're all planning to do this December, but only if our tree is ravishing enough to rock around. Christmas cheer is still pretty far off, but it's definitely time to start thinking about a tree.

Thank goodness the Bureau of Land Management will let Utahns cut down their voluptuous trees, hopefully before we're covered in snow.

The BLM will be selling 500 cutting permits so locals can find their dream tree. Permits are going on sale Nov. 14 for only $5. They're sold first come, first serve, so jump on this fast! You can only get them in-person, one permit per family with a limit of three permits per individual. Having a permit means you are one of the lucky to take home a pinyon or juniper tree, some of the fullest and tallest of the bunch.

Make some holiday memories with the family and make sure your tree is the talk of the town when picking out which tree will light up your living room.

You can find the BLM's Fillmore Field Office at 95 E. 500 North, Fillmore, Utah.

Go snatch your permit during their office hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. For more info, click here or call 435-743-3100.
