November kicks off with the Ballet West Gala Nov. 5. Right after their thrilling performance run of Dracula, Ballet West gears up for their one night only Gala performance that is sure to delight and inspire. The Gala performance starts at 6:30 p.m. at The Capitol Theatre with a decadent dessert reception immediately following. On Nov. 8 at 7:30 p.m. Kingsbury Hall presents Complexions Contemporary Ballet. Choreographer Desmond Richardson, who was recently featured on Fox's So You Think You Can Dance, is bringing his company for a one night only performance. As a bonus this performance is also featured in Studio D's line up, which means there is a free after-party at Market Street Broiler. On Nov. 12, Ring Around The Rose presents Tanner Dance from 11 a.m. to noon at the Rose Wagner. This is a one hour wiggle friendly performance that always sells out, so buy tickets ($5) early. Nov. 18 at 7:30 p.m. and Nov. 19 at 2 p.m., Repertory Dance Theatre presents Snapshots, a family-friendly adventure that is a entertaining playful "snapshot" of the neighborhood and features the choreography of Zvi Gotheiner and RDT dancers.
