The Utah Arts Alliance Gallery will be one of the major highlights in the Salt Lake Gallery Stroll on Nov. 18, while showing off “Urban Artifacts” by Scott Whitaker.

The Utah artist creates multi-dimensional art combining technology and design. Everything he works with is recycled, promoting a go-green, healthy planet. His “Urban Artifacts” will be made up of various objects that people have thrown away and some that have been lost for perhaps generations. The point of his exhibit is to examine the process of digging up and bringing back lost treasures and trash of the past.

An artist for more than 16 years, Whitaker specializes in sculptural design, graphic illustration and painting. Whitaker’s impressive background and talents have led to him founding the Salt Lake City-based non-profit AMO Arts collective.
