As the holidays make their annual descent, the entertainment calendar begins to slow although December and January both have some tasty treats awaiting.
In the meantime, as we ramp up for Turkey Day, let's look at our limited options.
On Monday night at Kilby Court, indie-folkers Priory will headline a 7 p.m. gig. The Portland rockers have a sound that should appeal to fans of their label mates Blind Pilot. Their self-titled debut album is on spotify.com, if you're interested and this is a pretty cool video shot this spring in Park City:
And finally Wednesday night local rockers Royal Bliss will be at The Depot for their eighth annual Thanksgiving party gig. Tickets are on sale at smithstix.com for $15. The show starts at 8:30 p.m. Spending Thanksgiving day hungover is an annual tradition for some of us and this will serve as a good excuse.
Also Wednesday night, if you want duck out on the relatives, Salt Lake Acting Company is running its production of "(A Man Enters,)." Should be a nice diversion as the holidays finally arrive.
