Midnight is so past their bedtimes—here are our favorite picks for early countdowns and New Year's fun with the kids this Saturday night. And if they are old enough to stay up for the real 2012, we have options for that as well.
Zoolights at Utah's Hogle Zoo
Check out the zoo's nocturnal animals, and be amazed by the annual holiday lights displays, many featuring holiday music.
Ring in the new year at 9 p.m.. Kids can make their own noise makers, and the zoo will provide some entertainment leading up to the countdown.
