Break out those pink wigs, ties, boas and dresses!

One of SLmag's favorite events of the year, The Forever Pink Prom, is coming up on Feb. 11.

The prom is an annual fundraiser for The Elyse Pantke White Foundation, which raises awareness of breast cancer, funds local research and treatment and supports causes and organizations to fight breast cancer.

Ross White started the foundation in memory of his wife who died in 2008 after a four-year battle with breast cancer. Since then, the foundation has supported the Huntsman Cancer Foundation and other organizations to find a cure. Last year's prom raised $15,000 for the foundation and gave 400 guests a fun night for a good cause.

And you can count on cool pink decor, a DJ spinning tunes, a photo booth with plenty of pink boas, an ice martini luge and dancing well into the night.

Following the prom, we'll have a full recap on our website, along with photos shot by our photographer Elliott Fraughton for our online galleries and the Utah People section of our magazine. Check out our photos from last year's event here.

The Tower at Rice-Eccles Stadium is located at 451 S. 1400 East, SLC. Wear something pink, tickets are $70
