Mardi Gras. Fat Tuesday. Beads and masks and jazz and fun. Lots and lots of fun. But how are you going to celebrate? Salt Lake mag has a few suggestions. You could attend a party while donating to charity or just get up and dance. Mardi Gras isn't technically until Feb. 21, but  starting Saturday, you can attend a different Mardi Gras party each week.

The Utah Art Festival’s Masquerade Party
Saturday, Feb. 25
General Admission $50

The Tardy Mardi Party is back! It may have a different name, but it's still one great fundraiser. The extravaganza includes "just-for-fun" casino games and tasty treats from the Art Institute of Salt Lake City. The event is also paired with a Texas-Hold-Em tournament that will precede the evening and a mask competition. The party-goer with the most creative mask will win a $300 Macy's gift card. But if masks aren't your accessories of choice, the silent auction is sure to tempt. Look for the overnight stay at Alta Lodge or dinner at High West Distillery.
