Recently, we shot the SHERO Who's WOO (Women Overcoming Obstacles) event, where four women talked about overcoming struggles, including Rebecca Musser, a former FLDS polygamist wife who testified against the sect in Utah, Arizona and Texas.

Utah Go Red for Women Luncheon, 10:30 a.m.

Heart disease is the leading cause of death in women, and the American Heart Association is educating the public on the matter. Support the cause at the annual luncheon. Deni Hill, at home winner of the Biggest Loser will speak. Tickets are $125.

pARTy for Rape Recovery, 6:30 p.m.

The Rape Recovery Center is holding its annual gala and auction, which will include work from many of the state's best artists. Elegant food and drink will be served, and proceeds will benefit the recovery center's programs. Tickets are $70.
