Scott Evans

Scott Evans was a pioneer of farm-to-table cuisine in Salt Lake City. The tagline for his first restaurant, Pago, is “Artisan. Local. Farm Fresh.” and those were his goals for the food. In Utah, of course, you have to add the caveat of “as much as possible.” The Beehive can’t provide all manner of fare and have a great ski season, too. But Evans makes local, organic sourcing a priority. To that end, he tends his own acre garden and has been a big supporter of other local growers, like M&M Farms.
