Z'Tejas Southwestern Grill has a perfect start to your weekend.
On Thursday, Dec. 6 at 7 p.m., they will host a dinner pairing tequila drinks with a three-course meal, thoughtfully prepared by Executive Chef Sam Lubing for a unique Southwestern dining experience.
For just $60 per person (which includes taxes and gratuity, all diners must be 21 years of age or older), your taste buds will be delighted with a delicious menu, perfect for any tequila lover.
Chile crab Rellenos
Your evening will begin with a Shrimp and Rockfish Ceviche paired with Herradura Blanco Sangritas, followed by a savory Spicy Walnut Spinach Salad with Dobel Diamond Smash.
Chili Shrimp Tacos
Next you will be delighted by a Cochinita Pibil, which is local pork braised with achiote, orange, lime and spices served with house-made tortillas, chipotle black beans, pickled jalapenos, red onions and roasted tomatillo salsa paired with Dobel Diamond Smash which is a killer drink made with Maestro Dobel tequila, Herradura agave nectar, muddled lemon and mint leaves.
If you still have room, desert is a wonderful Ancho Chile and Chocolate Crème Brulee topped off by a rhubarb and strawberry compote covered scoop of ice cream paired with a wonderful tequila hot chocolate, composed of Herradura Anejo tequila, Mexican chocolate, cinnamon, orange zest, heavy cream and nutmeg.
