Take the family to the Skater Smackdown for some fast-paced action and to support Camp Hobé, a summer camp for kids with cancer and their siblings, on March 9 at 7 p.m.

Wasatch Roller Derby League teams, Salt Flat Fallout and the Hot Wheelers are set to go head to head for the fundraiser, where 40 percent of net ticket sales will go directly to Camp Hobé, at the Derby Depot, 1415 S. 700 West, SLC. The match marks the debut of Salt Flat Fallout. Tickets are $10 per head prior to the event and $15 at the door. Click here for tickets.

Camp Hobé is run by volunteers and has served kids throughout the Intermountain West for more than 25 years. With traditional camp activities, the camp allows kids with cancer to feel like normal kids along with their siblings, who are often overlooked in the cancer experience. If you have a child with cancer or know one, click here to get more information on Camp Hobé. The camp will be one of many featured in our May/June 2013 issue.
