You'd think she was Irish. Maxine Turner with Cuisine Unlimited has created a special menu of Irish specialities for this weekend's get-together.

Turner does her homework when she researches holiday meals, so you can count on authenticity. "What is interesting is that most of the traditions and even the food have little connection to the holiday origins. For example, Irish stew and stuffed cabbage were not St. Patrick’s Day dinner musts, but were customs that began with emigrants creating a dish to remind them of home. A more traditional meal for St. Patrick’s Day would include cured pork."

Cuisine Unlimited's St. Patrick's parties are available for $28.50 per person with a minimum order for ten people. The feast can be picked up from the Cuisine catering kitchens or delivery is available additionally. Order deadline is Tuesday, March 14 at noon. 801-268-2332 or at CuisineUnlimited.com.
