The Copper Onion restaurant's "Orange Hue" cocktail was chosen as Utah's outstanding drink in New York Magazine.  After just three years in business, this local restaurant is moving up the scales of local to national recognition.

The "Orange Hue" is currently featured on the restaurant's new Spring cocktail menu, and the team who created it received a pleasant surprise.  Beverage Director Jimmy Santangelo said, "we received a call from the editor of the magazine explaining that they scoured cocktail menus throughout Utah and our Orange Hue stood out above the rest. We couldn’t be more excited.”  

This award also acknowledges The Copper Onion's dedication to using local ingredients in their original creations. Cinnamon and fresh marmalade give the kick and color to Orange Hue that made it a new and zingy taste sensation.  It joins the like of drinks called Smoked Salmon Bloody Mary from Alaska, Black Diamond from Montana, and Desert Scrub from Nevada.
