This weekend is your last chance to see Gilbert and Sullivan's The Pirates of Penzance at the beautiful new Utah Children's Theatre.
Also called The Slave of Duty, the two act comic opera follows Frederic, a young man who falls in love with a beautiful girl named Mabel shortly after leaving his apprenticeship with a group of pirates. Soon, Frederic realizes he's still duty-bound to the pirates for another 63 years, since he was born on Feb. 29 and can't be released until his 21st birthday.
Will Mabel wait for him faithfully?
The show is $9 and runs April 26 at 7 p.m., April 27 at 3 p.m. and April 27 at 7 p.m. Click here for tickets or more info.
