This week, dining editor Mary Brown Malouf appeared on KUTV to talk about Tastemakers, Salt Lake magazine's annual downtown dining event, coming up on May 30 and 31.

Guests will be able to sample food from restaurants that set up shop at Gallivan Avenue, along with food from nearby restaurants on a self-guided stroll. New this year, exclusive tastings from Roots Cafe, Saffron Valley, Frida Bistro and Aristos will be dished out in a VIP Pavillion.

Peter Korth of Frida Bistro appeared with Malouf to show how to make one of the restaurant's appetizers and a dessert.
