Take a bucket of paint, pour in your favorite local craft brew and turn the bass up to 11, and what do you get? The 2013 Utah Arts Festival, of course. Every year, Utahns flock to Library Square in downtown Salt Lake as Utah's arts take center stage. Check it out yourself this Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday as artists showcase traditional art pieces and post-modern marvels.

A staple of the Utah Arts Festival has always been the great live music, and this year is no exception. Homegrown favorites like Royal Bliss and Katie Ainge are simply two near the top of a long list of performers lined up. The Utah Arts Festival will also feature it's mini film festival, Fear No Film, showcasing talented independent filmmakers from right here in the Beehive. Visual artists come to Utah from all over for the festival to present their work. On Saturday, Library Square is also the finish line for the Color Me Rad 5K, so go for a run to get colored like a piece of artwork on display at the festival.

Whether it's food, crafts or a simple passion for the arts, there truly is something for everybody at the Utah Arts Festival, and with the Festival For Kids section, it is fun for the whole family.
