Zaniac, an after school program that first launched in Park City as Zane Prep last February, just opened shop in Sugar House. The aim of the center is to get kids engaged in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) through activities and programs.

"We know that kids learn effectively through play," said CEO Paul Reddy in a recent press release. "Zaniac is like school at its very best—nurturing, stimulating, safe and energetic, but with a real learning focus. We're providing education in a fun environment that kids enjoy." And if your kids love playing with LEGOs, they'll get the chance to build LEGO robots.

See if it's right for your kids at the open house on Monday, Aug. 26 from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. They're located at 1045 E. 2100 South, SLC.
