Lotsa news lately. Victoria Topham has sold her beloved Pinon Market & Cafe. Super pastry chef Jeffrey Deleon is leaving La Bonne Vie and Grand America.Southern Wine & Spirits acquired local broker Phoenix Wine & Spirits

But some things—thank goodness—are still the same. Liberty Heights Fresh, the little gas station turned gourmet store that pioneered fine food, artisanal cheese and local products when Slow Food was just a growing gleam in Carlo Petrini's eye. Founder and owner Steve Rosenberg has probably done as much as any other individual to promote appreciation of fine food and eating in Utah. Those of us with palates and stomachs should thank him.

You can do that on September 6th and 7th when Rosenberg will be celebrating his 20th year of offering good food in Salt Lake City.

Of course, we're all invited.
