While your back was turned, bromeliads have uprooted fussy flowers and leafy greens in arrangements with wondrous results. Surprised? Don’t be. Not only do these compelling plants offer bold symmetrical style, but they also require very little care. Some don’t even need soil, including Tillandsias. Also called air plants, Tillandsias absorb nutrients through their foliage and, with regular misting, continue to captivate.
