Celebrate the Chinese New Year with The City Library, and get your face in SLMag.

Join us as we usher in the year of the horse by snapping your pic at the Library. Along with a Chinese calligraphy exhibit, there will be paper lanterns, activities for kids and traditional lion dancing.

As it’s the year of the horse, we’ll all be stronger, have more energy, and more of an open-mind. Or at least we’ll learn something new about Chinese culture, like Xin Nian Kuai Le (that means Happy New Year).

The party is located in the downtown branch of the Salt Lake City Library and starts at 2 p.m. on Feb. 1.
