STYLEBYTE: One trend. One love.
If you have seen me lately, you will know that I am dying for jumpsuits. I have parked my dresses for the season in exchange for the jumpsuit. They are easy, comfortable, fashionable and versatile; what more could you ask for? We have received quite a few styles in the store lately that I could not wait to try.
I wore the Addison jumpsuit and paired it with a moto boot and heavy chain jewelry to create a rather tough look. The piece made me feel sexy, cool, and stylish.

I wore a stunning BCBGMax Azria jumpsuit to a funeral a few weeks ago with a camisole under the sheer deep v-front to make it less revealing, added a cropped black jacket, and layered multiple strands of pearls for a more sophisticated and chic look.

And cute Madeline sported the new Ella Moss jumpsuits for a photoshoot with a statement necklace and darling hat.

Jumpsuits can serve many purposes and can be an easy outfit choice. Head to a cocktail party in an all silk number, or throw one on to have lunch with the girls. Or if you want to get edgy, then pick a jumpsuit with some hardware or interesting detailing.

If you are not sure that a jumpsuit is right for you, go and try one on - you might be surprised. And if you are concerned that you are too short for the trend, pick a jumpsuit with more of a track-pant-leg (one that tapers at the bottom) so that there is a clear end to the look. Also make sure that the jumpsuit is fitted so that it shows off your figure.

I do have one rule for wearing a jumpsuit and that is that you have to ‘rock it.’ With any new trend that you are trying for the first time, there is nothing more important than confidence. Jumpsuits are bold and you will stand out, so make sure that you own the look and don’t let the look own you.
As always, if you have questions or need help with this trend stop by and see us at the store. XX Ashley
