Samba Fogo is back, and we've got your tickets.
Samba Fogo is Utah's resident showcase of Afro-Brazilian performing arts. Their upcoming show, "Inspiração Do Fogo," will feature Afro-Brazilian dance, live music, martial arts and fire dancing—which makes sense considering that "Inspiração Do Fogo" roughly translates to "breath of fire."
Vocalist Carla Arancibia and the Samba Fogo musicians will accompany Lorin Hansen's choreography with traditional Afro-Brazilian arrangements, music composed by Mason Aeschbacher and popular Brazilian music.
What do you love most about Samba Fogo? Is it the fire spinning and martial arts? Or the incredible dancing?
Tell us in the comments by Thursday, March 20 and you'll be entered to win a pair of tickets.
Or, if you've never been to Samba Fogo, tell us what you are most excited to see.
Samba Fogo's "Inspiração Do Fogo" performs April 3-5 at 7:30 p.m. in the Jeanne Wagner Theatre (at the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center).
