Repertory Dance Theatre's Spring performance is tonight through Saturday. The show titled Land features choreography embodying Utah's red-rock landscapes, wetlands, forests and mountains.

Works include “Desert Sea” by Molissa Fenley, “Erosion” by Zvi Gotheiner, "Rainwood" by Ze'eva Cohen, and "Turf" by Shapiro & Smith.

For those that haven't seen Rainwood picture a dance choreographed entirely to the sounds of nature (birds, frogs, insects), the fluid movements of the dancers turn the stage into "a forest ritual that brings alive the creatures of the wilderness in a brilliant symphony of steps, crawls and twists".

There is also a 'land-inspired' art auction & sale to benefit RDT in the Jeanne Wagner gallery. The Land 2 Land art exhibit runs through April 30th, the silent auction however is only April 10-12.
