Summer is upon us, and there's no better way to celebrate than enjoying live, family-friendly music in a beautiful glen.

Ogden Nature Center presents two outdoor summer concerts this season, so grab your picnic blankets and lawn chairs, and get ready for a treat. On June 12, watch a performance by Run Boy Run, an all-acoustic group and winner of the Telluride Bluegrass Festival Band Contest. The band combines classical, jazz, and folk music to create a unique sound entirely their own.

Los Pinguos will play on Aug. 7. Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, the world-renowned band combines Latin rhythms with Spanish guitars, bass, and harmonizing vocals to create an infectious energy and unforgettable sound.

Tickets are $18 for adults, and $12 for children. They can be purchased online, by phone, or in person at the Ogden Nature Center, located at 966 W. 12th street, Ogden. Gates open at 6 p.m. and concerts start at 7 p.m. Get there early to claim a spot. Low-rise chairs and blankets are welcome in the general admission seating area. Bring your own beverages and picnics, or choose from several box picnic dinners by Union Grill when you purchase a ticket for $11 each online. Visit the website or call 801-625-7595 for tickets or more information.
