Awhile ago I wrote in this space about Ransom Old Tom, a new gin in town. Not one of our new native spirits (read the upcoming issue of the mag) but an attitudinous import from Oregon.

Tonight I'm off to Finca for a tasting dinner featuring my new friend Old Tom and other imbibables from Ransom Wine & Spirits, hosted by the maker himself. You can read all about it here tomorrow.
