Celebrate Friends of Alta's 30th Anniversary

The Friends of Alta, who are responsible for protecting the environment and natural beauty of Alta, are celebrating their 30th anniversary on January 15th, 2011 and have invited the community to join in the festivities. Taking place at the Alta Club on January 15, 2011 at 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM menu options include a bacon-wrapped filet mignon and flame-grilled wild Alaskan salmon.  The tickets cost $150 per person ($75 tax deduction per ticket) with sponsorship tables with designated seating for 8 or more available at $1,500.  If you're interested RSVP soon because the deadline is December 28th and seating is limited. The dress code for this affair is to be business casual. Guest speaking at the event will be Dr. Jaybe Belnap of the U.S. Department of Interior and Ted Wilson who is the Senior Adviser on Environmental Matters to Utah Governor Gary Herbert. 15th Annual Holiday Group Exhibit in Art Access Gallery

This year's annual holiday group exhibit at Art Access Gallery will be running from November 19th to December 18th. The opening artist's reception being held on November 19th between 6 and 9 PM with the holiday reception being held on December 3 between 6 and 9 PM both are held during the Gallery Stroll.
