What is Arts Bash? Arts Bash is the largest arts celebration on the University of Utah campus. This annual, massive party is free and aims to highlight the academic arts (Art & Art History, Ballet, Modern Dance, Film & Media Arts, Theatre, and Music), professional arts, and all the ways students can access the arts for free or nearly-free through the increasingly-popular Arts Pass. Arts Bash connects students from all across campus to what arts experiences are available free to them by using Arts Pass. www.finearts.utah.edu

This 9th Annual 5K raises funds for the Ovarian Cancer Research, Awareness, and Education Fund in the University of Utah’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The event began in 2007 in memory of Susan Sandoval, a nurse at LDS and Primary Children’s hospitals who battled ovarian cancer.
Many participants have been touched by ovarian cancer in some way, whether they come to honor the memory of a lost loved one, support survivors, and/or come out to support the cause. Participation in the race not only honors Susan Sandoval’s memory, but also the struggles of all who have been touched by gynecologic cancer.
Registration begins at 7am; Event is from 8am-10am
Come out to support this wonderful cause! Pre-register for the event at Sandoval5K.UofUMedicine.org and check us out at www.Facebook.com/Sandoval5K. Contact email@example.com for more information.
For Noah Gundersen, the past few years have brought about immense growth and change, both as an artist and as a young man grappling with issues of identity and independence. It should come as little surprise, then, that his stunning new album, Carry The Ghost, is so heavily influenced by existential philosophy. What's so striking, though, is hearing a 25-year-old articulate such weighty themes, packaging them into heartbreakingly gorgeous melodies with a plainspoken language that cuts to the quick upon first listen. Then again, Noah Gundersen has never aimed for ordinary.

The dream of being able to write and play music for a living is something that all of us share in The Echo Era. All of us have been playing and writing together for many years under different band names and styles in one way or another. We are very grateful to all of the friends, family, and fans that have been with us for so long. You have supported us, encouraged us, and given us the confidence to keep going. We got to a point where we felt stuck. Outside of our local shows, which were sporadic at best, we couldn't reach new fans. No matter what we did, when it came down to it we were a band with no album. This, clearly, had to change. So we set out to record however few songs that our tiny budget would allow. Searching for a studio where we could afford to record even two tracks was starting to get a little overwhelming and we soon found out that it was out of our reach. We had attempted some fundraising before but failed due to short time frames, and again, a lack of recorded music
