2012 Days of '47 Parade

The Mormon pioneers first arrived in the Salt Lake Valley 165 years ago, and locals celebrated with the 2012 Days of '47 events, including the parade on July 24. Many arrived early, camping out along the route the night before, so they would be the first to see the floats, bands, horses and prominent locals in the parade.
