Belly Dance Springfest

Nationally-acclaimed Middle Eastern dancers and musicians performed at the Belly Dance Springfest at the Utah State Fairgrounds on March 5. Performers took the stage at the Promontory Building from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and vendors offered scents, jewelry, costumes and clothing, henna tattoos and tarot card readings. The event was created by BellyDancing by Thia to showcase local talent, and it's modeled after a Turkish bazaar. The Springfest just celebrated 10 years and is Utah's largest indoor dance festival.
