Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows Party

Utah's biggest Harry Potter fans celebrated the premiere of Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows part one at Thanksgiving Point's Museum of Ancient Life on Nov. 18. Both muggle and wizard guests enjoyed a scavenger hunt for the hidden horcruxes, costume contests and trivia. Wizard Woodruff showed the crowd live owls like the ones in the movies, and party goers made their own magic wands after being sorted into Hogwarts houses. Early holiday shoppers also browsed Diaganon Alley for Potter-inspired paraphernalia. The party ended with the midnight showings at the Thanksgiving Point Megaplex and Mammoth Screen.
