A Midsummer’s Night of Magic & Music

Utah Symphony | Utah Opera raised about $500,000 at the Deer Valley® Music Festival’s 10th anniversary gala, A Midsummer's Night of Magic & Music, at Stein Eriksen Lodge on July 5. The event opened with cocktails on the Flagstaff Deck, featuring a performance by Tad Calcara & New Deal Swing Band. After an elegant dinner, guests were treated to live music by a quintet of Utah Symphony musicians, Lisa Vroman, Jerry Steichen and Time for Three, followed by a live auction, in the Stein Eriksen Ballroom. An after-hours performance by Blues Traveler was held at the Olympic Ballroom. The gala was held in conjunction with the Deer Valley® Music Festival, a summer concert series with acts ranging from Steve Martin to Indigo Girls, along with the Utah Symphony, at the Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater and other venues in Park City.
