Every Thursday, Salt Lake City workers enjoy lunchtime at Gallivan Avenue during Food Truck Thursdays
. On Thursday, Aug. 14, lunch-goers were treated to free snow cones from Ski Utah
, in celebration of the coming winter season. “It’s hard to believe, but we are celebrating 100 days until winter,” said Susie English, Ski Utah Director of Communications. Along with free snow cones from Kona Ice Truck, Ski Utah held contests, including a giveaway for a Yeti Pass (good for one day at all 15 Utah ski resorts this winter). Several food trucks were on hand, including the Chow Truck, which serves tasty Asian-inspired tacos, and Off the Grid, which serves locally sourced food and is a member of Local First Utah.
Grab a bite at Food Truck Thursday, held every Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Gallivan Avenue.
